Established in 1997 in the English Lake District, Intermezzo String Quartet specialises in providing appropriate and stylish background music for events and functions both large and small, including:

receptions

opening nights
parties

Intermezzo String Quartet Cumbria

We are all professionally trained and qualified musicians. Our combined musical experience is very wide, ranging from orchestral work with professional orchestras such as the Hallé, Liverpool Philharmonic and Manchester Camerata, touring operatic companies, the local Lakeland Sinfonia; to freelance solo and chamber ensemble playing.
